Hockey Rules |
For wagering
purposes, unless otherwise stipulated, professional,
college, and amateur hockey games are official
after 55 minutes of play or at the completion
of overtime period(s).
Canadian Line
The Canadian line is a combination
goal and money line. The team wagered on must
win by the goal spread and the amount to lay or
take is determined by the money line odds.
Example:
Rangers -1½ -130
Flyers -1½ +110
Rangers wager: The team must win
by 2 or more. You would lay $130 to win $110.
Flyers wager: The team cannot lose
by more than one goal. You would lay $100 to win
$110
American Line (Puck Line)
The team wagered on must win by the goal line
spread. All play on the goal line is even money
unless otherwise noted.
Example:
Canadiens -2
Kings +1½
Canadians wager: The team must win by more than
2 goals. You lay $100 to win $100
Kings wager: The team cannot lose by more than
1 goal. You lay $100 to win $100.
All Hockey wagers DO include
all overtime scoring.
All hockey games must be played on date specified
to be considered action.
Games are graded as soon as the game goes final and is deemed official.
Futures, such as Divisional winners, will be graded as soon as the season or tournament is over.
